Join the fun at Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center! Hui No'eau provides youth with a unique and essential arts education resource with a variety of visual arts programs for children age 2.5 - 17. Offerings include: CAMP KALUANUI (Ages 5 - 11) Camp Kaluanui offers a diverse, visual arts curriculum geared to stretch minds, exercise imaginations, keep the body active, and introduce new idea-generating techniques. Surrounded by the beauty of the Hui's historic Kaluanui Estate, campers paint, build, design, dance, sing, and play their way through a balanced variety of artistic activities each day. FAMILY FRIDAY WORKSHOPS (Ages 3 - 12) Bring the whole family to the Hui for a fun & creative Friday night! "Family Friday" workshops are meant for children ages 3-12 accompanied by an adult guardian. We'll order pizza and there will be laughter, creativity, and fun for all! Register for one - or as many as you like at huinoeau.com! TINY HANDS (Ages 2.5 - 5) Using materials such as pastels, clay, paint and paper that stimulate creative impulses and fuel artistry, children (and an accompanying adult guardian) will learn artistic processes that little hands can manage with help. OnSTAGE is a program for children 8 - 17 who have a desire to learn more about all aspects of theatrical production including Singing, Acting, Dancing and Performing. If your child is interested more in a behind-the-scenes role, they can learn more of the technical aspects to putting on a show. Students enrolled in the OnSTAGE program will participate in the current youth theater production. Performances are held at the Historic Iao Theater. This fun, high energy, creative workshop nurtures 20 - 25 performers of all levels and experiences.
